Newcastle to go back in for Remy if they fail to land Liverpool target Lacazette

Newcastle, Liverpool, Loic Remy, Alexandre Lacazette
Pardew is desperate to sign a big-name striker to cap off a successful transfer window for the Toon.
Newcastle have already added Emmanuel Riviere and Facundo Ferreyra to their attack during pre-season but, according to reports in France, Lacazette is their top target.
The Lyon striker is also interesting Liverpool and he is rated at £16m after rejecting a new contract at the Ligue 1 outfit.
Lyon club chairman Jean-Michel Aulas recently tried to dampen transfer talk surrounding the French striker.
Toon gaffer Pardew accepts that the ambitious move for Lacazette is unlikely to happen so he is keeping his eye on Loic Remy's situation.
The striker spent last season at St James' Park but stalled on a permanent move.
He eventually chose to sign for Liverpool only for the move to spectacularly break down at the medical stage.
Pardew has acknowledged his disappointment at Remy snubbing his side but it is thought the French international will be offered a move to Tyneside one more time.
